Ellena Nguyen is an associate attorney with an emphasis in intellectual property and business litigation. She has handled both litigation and transactional work regarding a wide array of areas including, but not limited to, trademarks, copyrights, patents, and commercial leases.

Ms. Nguyen is a graduate of Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law, with an emphasis in Business Law. During law school, she served as the Treasurer of the Chapman Women Lawyers Association and received CALI Awards for the highest grade in Entertainment Industry Contracts and Community Property. She also interned for the United States Small Business Administration, where she provided research and opinions to the Chief Counsel and Assistant United States Attorneys on various matters such as suretyship, bankruptcy, and secured and unsecured creditors.

Ms. Nguyen also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Berkeley where she doubled majored in Environmental Economics and Policy and Japanese.




Ms. Nguyen monitors and manages a portfolio of over 200 trademarks, in addition to international marks. She routinely handles all aspects of the application process for trademark registration. She has also participated in prosecuting and defending several trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

As an associate, Ms. Nguyen is involved in prosecuting and defending intellectual property lawsuits and is familiar with several aspects of trademark and copyright law.
